The small, Chicago-based biotech venture Errant Gene Therapeutics, which was engaged in a court battle against a well-funded biotech called Bluebird Bio and a venture capital firm known as Third Rock Ventures. With allegations of breach of contract, tortious business interference, and fraud, TrialSite News initiated a project to review publicly available information, including court records, to derive a more thorough understanding of the case at hand.
